Library Rules

1. Every student and research scholar of this institution can be a member of the College Library and Information Centre. The students can either download the Membership Form from the Library website or can have hardcopy from the library office within the college hours.
2. The Users are allowed for two cards; one for Lending and another for Reading purposes.
3. The Outside research scholars and students can use the library with the approval of the College Librarian
4. Students can borrow books after showing their identity cards.
5. The users must sign in the Visitor’s Attendance Register whenever enter the library.
6. The students are allowed for lending purposes one book at a time but for reading purposes there is no bar of number of issuing books.
7. The Book can be lent for 14 days and it can be renewed for another 7 days if required. If books returned after the due date, Rs. 1 per book per day will be counted as fine.
8. The book can be issued and returned within the specified time.
9. Loss of library books must be reported in writing immediately to the librarian or library staff.
10. Do not mark, tear and damage the book. When returning the book, if the pages are missing or marked, the borrower will be responsible.
11. Users cannot be issued more than one book of same kind at a same time.
12. The books can be retained by the Teaching staff for 60 days and not more than 20 books at a time.
13. Reference books, Journals, Magazines and Newspapers cannot be issued. They are available to use within the library.
14. The students must sign in the register for getting Internet facilities in the college library.

15. Perfect silence shall be strictly observed in the library. Users are required to maintain the discipline and decorum in the library.
16. The librarian can call back any member book at any time and the member must return it immediately
17. Users are advised not to keep belongings at the property counter in their own risk. If any items are lost then the college authority is not responsible.
